The Village (DVD Review)

"Do your very best not to scream"

I kinda liked this film. M. Night's had a fair track record with Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and this one. Signs kinda disappointed me, but he gave it a far whack of the baseball bat. This one sort of creeps up on you. I was proud that I worked it fairly early on, but this did not affected my enjoyment of the film. Wonderfully produced, and solidly acted by a top drawer cast (newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard is extremely effective), as Goldmember said, I think this one's a keeper and I wanna watch it again soon. The DVD extras are ok, with the highlight being M. Night's old home movie Raiders moment.
